Event Associate/Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in joining the Sip Shop Eat! team. We are seeking motivated pop-up associates to assist us with our growing pop ups.
The following outlines the requirements for consideration:
*Must be 18 or older
*Demonstrates Reliability
*Available for one or all of the SSE Weekends
*Available for a 15 minute phone call
* Transportation to the designated SSE location
*Time frames include (on each pop up weekend):
- Saturdays: 9am-3pm, 3pm-7pm (or 9a-7pm)
- Sundays: 10:30am-7pm, (or 9a-7pm)
Most positions are Volunteer only. Various positions may offer pay: Up to $100/day
In exchange for your support you will be offered:
- 1 hour break to enjoy Sip Shop Eat!

- A hands on experience producing/managing events, building community and supporting entrepreneurs

Community Manager:
Sip Shop Eat is seeking a social media savvy individual who is passionate about small businesses to serve as the new Community Manager for Sip Shop Eat. As the community manager you will be responsible for engaging with the Sip Shop Eat community through the Wix app, Private Facebook Groups, E-Blasts, and through content creation (social media and blog content). Duties include:
- Develop engaging content for Wix App, private Facebook groups, email subscribers and SSE's growing social media following
- Organize private events for the SSE Entrepreneur Member Community
- Create social content using Canva
- Draft Blog posts
- Gather resources for the SSE Entrepreneur Member Community
- Develop shopping guides for SSE's consumer community
- Contribute to the growth and development of the SSE Entrepreneur membership program
Qualifications:
- Creative
- Experience using Planoly, Canva, Wix and managing Facebook Groups
- Experience managing social media and creating content
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Self starter, works well independently
- Maintains great records
- Team player, enthusiastically receives feedback
Time commitment: 5-10 hours/week
