Event Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in joining the Sip Shop Eat! team. We are seeking motivated pop-up associates to assist us with our growing pop ups.

 

The following outlines the requirements for consideration:

*Must be 18 or older

*Demonstrates Reliability

*Available for one or all of the SSE Weekends

*Available for a 15 minute phone call

* Transportation to the designated SSE location

*Time frames include (on each pop up weekend):

- Saturdays: 9am-3pm, 3pm-7pm (or 9a-7pm-paid)

- Sundays: 10:30am-7pm, (or 9a-7pm-paid)

Most positions are Volunteer only. Various positions may offer pay: Up to $125/day

In exchange for your support you will be offered:

- 1 hour break to enjoy Sip Shop Eat!

- Breakfast & Lunch 

- Free snacks and desserts

- Free drinks for 21+

- Free SSE T-shirt, bag, and goodies

- A hands on experience producing/managing events, building community and supporting entrepreneurs

Other Job Opportunities:

Assistant Event Coordinator (Part time ~8-10 hours/week)

Location: Primarily Remote. Must be willing to travel to event location sites for SSE Weekends (up to 8 times/year)

Overview:

- Works closely with the CEO and founder of Sip Shop Eat

- Assists with design concept and execution of each scheduled IRL Pop-UP weekend

- Assist with all elements of event planning and event logistics  

- Assistance with execution and coordination of on-site events 

- Assist with coordination of external event vendors (balloon artists, catering, food trucks)

- Assists with management of on-site production teams. 

- Assists with development of both digital and print presentation and communications materials as  part of ongoing campaigns 

Ideal candidate has experience coordinating events such as weddings, meetings, etc.

Community Manager Overview (Part time ~8-10 hours/week)

Location: 100% Remote.

- Assists in the coordination of all elements of the SSE Entrepreneur Program 

- Engages with current members monthly to ensure Business Bestie members schedule 1:1s

- Develops custom resources for Business Bestie members following 1:1s

- Creating and publishing Content intended to engage the Entrepreneur Community on Facebook,  Forums and Instagram 

- Gathering information for Blog content 

- Drafts and publishes blogs

- Creates social media reels and tik toks designed to help small business owners

- Creating & maintaining SOPs (standard operating procedures) for your tasks - Drafting mass communication broadcasts, such as emails & social media posts - Identifying opportunities to update and improve our programs and content as needed
