Go For It!

It's 2019! 2018 is officially a thing of the past. Isn't it exciting to have a new year, a fresh start? Many of us look to the new year to: start new things, break old habits, and establish new goals. That's great! Yet, as entrepreneurs we don't have the luxury of waiting for the new year to roll around if we truly want to stay in the race and reach our goals as the next "big thing."

We have to be willing to jump off the bridge feet first and build the parachute on the way down. Simply, we have to Go for it!

What's holding you back?

What's stopping you?

I'm sure there are a number of valid reasons why you shouldn't. While there are probably an equal amount of valid reasons why you should.

I want to challenge you, yes you, to write down your goals. As you write, be broad, be ambitious, be outrageous, ask big. Then, I want you to follow those goals with teeny tiny actionable objectives that will help you reach those broad, big, nasty goals. Then, every day, for the next 365 days I want you to work on those goals until they're reality.

Friend, you will never be ready. The time will never be right. Forget about all the negative things that happened the last time you tried, or that might happen this time. Forget that your mom said you couldn't or that boyfriend that did not like your design and just GO FOR IT.

The longer you wait, the least likely your goal is to be accomplished. Don't be afraid to break things, that is the only way you will learn. And as you fail, learn. It's called "The Glow Up," for a reason. Don't repeat mistakes and most importantly don't allow mistakes to define you or give you any inclination that you should not be going for it. I'm a firm believer that resistance means that you are actually on the right path.

While, we don't need to "wait," for a new year to set and accomplish new goals we don't want to waste this opportunity to write a new and exciting chapter. So go for it my love. Go for it with all your might! Don't be afraid to be great.

Happy New Year
